Description

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute regional strategies for the infrastructure and energy sectors, aligned with corporate goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential markets, and client demands.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize strategic initiatives and drive regional business growth.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the infrastructure and energy domains.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, private sector clients, and strategic partners.
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations for clients.

Operational Excellence:

  • Analyze project and portfolio performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance on resource allocation to maximize profitability and project delivery efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and enhance service offerings.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a key liaison between the Middle East region and Surbana Jurong Group’s global leadership.
  • Represent the organization in regional conferences, forums, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Facilitate partnerships with local entities to foster knowledge transfer and capacity building.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor regulatory changes, policy developments, and competitor activities in the Middle East.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to adapt to the evolving market landscape.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and updates for senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure and energy sectors, with at least 5 years in a strategic or leadership role in the Middle East.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure development, renewable energy, and emerging technologies in the energy sector.
  • Proven track record in business development and managing large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a diverse range of stakeholders.
