Description
Leads the management of all general supply chain activities (inventory management, SIOP planning and material escalations), for the satellite facilities in region including serving as functional manager to the site level supply chain analysts. Support training and development of functional direct reports (site level Supply chain analysts) and focus on educating site level staff on supply chain practices. Communicates with and influences Satellite Operations Managers and Site Supply Chain analysts to improve Supply Chain processes including supply chain leading indicators, driving continuous improvement plans, and actioning in order to support EBS strategic improvement, as well as site specific operational improvements impacting the BU operational performance related to Supply Chain. Owns critical supply chain function (inventory or purchasing) for the entire satellite business unit. Serves as escalation point for supply chain, materials, systemic and logistics challenges for supported sites. Champions ERP readiness in collaboration with other functions. Serves as liaison between the satellite team and the Pune supply chain center of excellence. Supports and deploys divisional and corporation wide supply chain initiatives. Takes ownership of supply chain training and development for supported Business Operations Managers, Production Managers, Supply Chain Analysts, and functional direct reports. Works cross-functionally to achieve satellite profit plan goals and hi-5 metrics. Coaches and mentors supported sites on a robust SIOP process for demand and material planning. Support other projects and initiatives as needed. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum three (3) years of experience in either Materials Management, Sourcing, or Purchasing, or a combination of each (including knowledge of accounting, business systems, and manufacturing). At least 1 year of experience supporting the supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management or technical degree from an accredited institution. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management. One (1) year of experience managing a team of direct reports. One (1) year of experience in program management and ERP Implementations (SAP preferred) One (1) year of experience with existing electrical SCM systems knowledge (Vista, Mapics, AS400, SAP) One (1) year of experience with data/business analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense, Cognos) APICS - CPIM certification Green Belt certification This position requires travel (50%) with limited planning due to business needs across supported sites. Strong coaching and mentoring skills and ability to achieve results through others. Knowledge and skills in SCM, Quality, Purchase Orders, CQM, DMR, CONC, Lean Mfg. Broad financial knowledge for asset management, budgeting, and profit plan attainment. Support continuous improvement efforts to meet and exceed customer requirements in a fast-paced environment. Ability to think and act strategically and leverage strong analytical/problem solving skills.
