To support this mission, Syngenta’s Production & Supply Chain Team is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Operations Lead in Pune. This role will support the delivery of : Lead cross-functional supply operations teams to provide end-to-end (from formulated bulk / AI delivery / imported finished goods to supply into countries) operational and tactical coordination across AMEA region and outside organizational boundaries (from supply planning to execution of supply chain operations) for a number of defined supply chain portfolios To line manage a team of Supply Chain Planners with a portfolio having a major impact on the assets under the agreed responsibility. To ensure awareness of status of their portfolios and any risks that may affect the delivery of the supply plan, through regular meetings and the measurement of key KPI's. Be core member in AMEA Regional PLT for the portfolio assigned representing P&S to co-develop the supply chain strategy, new NPI implementation, PLCM implementation for the defined supply chain with close collaboration with GSCM and FFP siting team. Act as a key business partner with the PLT, Production site manager, FFP siting team, GSCM and CU P&S team taking end to end accountability over the supply chain of the portfolio in AMEA Accountable for the supply budget supporting sales > 700 m$ Portfolio with medium to high complexity: no of SKU, supply network complexity The inventory holding circa < 200m$ FTE circa 2-3 people Geographical footprint – AMEA region Supply Operations Lead cross-functional supply operations team to manage a robust and cost-effective delivery of supply against agreed KPI’s, including resolution of operational issues outside geographical and functional boundaries Pro-actively identify demand uncertainties and future supply constraints and develop options/scenarios for their resolution which preserve promised customer delivery dates at most optimal cost. Lead the root cause analysis for any operational issues, identify and implement corrective actions. Effectively manage the escalation and communication process of any major issues to the P&S leadership team as well as risks which could impact the delivery of the business Planning Lead Coordinate planning activities to ensure overall supply & demand balance by monitoring sales forecasts, supply & demand variability. Lead RCCP activities at the FFP sites and ensure the capacity plan balance across the sites Ensure the optimization of inventory throughout the regional supply chain. Establish appropriate stock targets to maintain customer service levels while minimizing working capital. Monitor and drive transactional and system discipline across the supply chain Regional Supply Chain management Drive improvements of the supply chain design strategy to improve business delivery and supply performance in close collaboration with GSCM and the supply chain design team. Lead the cost optimization of end-to-end supply chain through strong collaboration with Product Indication team, other P&S functions as well as country P&S teams.
