Regional Supply Chain Security Manager
Sunstates Security is seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Regional Supply Chain Security Manager to oversee and execute the secure transport of high-value assets across the East and West Coasts, with additional responsibilities for event security logistics both domestically and internationally. This role will be based in Runnemeade, NJ and is a hands-on leadership role in ensuring the safe, timely, and discreet delivery of critical inventory, including white glove, hand-delivered shipments to customers.
The successful candidate will coordinate with logistics providers, security partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver a high-value customer experience while maintaining strict compliance and risk controls. This position requires frequent travel—approximately 50% to 75%—both domestically and internationally, and availability to work across multiple shifts including nights, days, and weekends as operational needs dictate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in secure logistics, event logistics, or high-value asset transportation, with direct customer-facing experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, high-value deliveries and international logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs compliance, international shipping law, and transport risk mitigation.
  • Proven ability to work discreetly and professionally with high-profile customers and partners.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, HS codes, and international shipping documentation.
  • Experience with secure transportation vendors and event logistics coordinators.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to act calmly under pressure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience managing secure transport of luxury goods, fine art, or collectibles.
  • Certification in logistics, customs compliance, or supply chain (e.g., CCLP, CILT, CSCMP).
  • Proficiency with ERP and TMS systems.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
Responsibilities

Lead regional operations for secure, high-value asset movement across East and West Coast locations.

  • Personally assist in the white glove hand-delivery of high-dollar assets to customers as needed.
  • Oversee and coordinate the handling, storage, and security of assets at domestic and international events.
  • Develop and implement secure handling protocols and chain-of-custody procedures tailored to VIP delivery and event settings.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across U.S. and global shipping, trade, and customs regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics and secure transport providers, customs brokers, and security vendors.
  • Manage shipment documentation including export/import permits, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
  • Partner with insurance carriers to validate coverage for high-risk transports and event exposure.
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments for customer deliveries and special events, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and track all critical shipments and deployments in real time, providing detailed updates to stakeholders.
  • Investigate and report incidents involving asset handling or transportation discrepancies.
  • Stay informed on evolving international regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, IATA, CITES) and implement changes as needed.
