SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accountancy/ Finance undergraduate degree from recognized universities
  • Tax professional with a minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification commercial experience with an MNC and/or major accounting firm
  • Prior experience working on regional/cross-border tax matters preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate across functional teams
  • Maturity to deal with all levels of staff and businesses across multiple countries and cultures
  • Resourceful, independent with ability to drive agenda and deliver results
  • Highly analytical, self-motivated, energetic, versatile and confident
  • An effective team player with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities

WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM

As the Asia Pacific Regional Tax Advisor, you will be part of a team of highly-dynamic and qualified tax professionals in the Asia Pacific Tax Center, based in Singapore.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The key responsibilities of the Regional Tax Advisor:

  • Identify tax planning opportunities, including recommendation of tax-efficient corporate structures for existing business as well as new ventures for our businesses in Asia Pacific.
  • Research, analyze, reason, interpret and evaluate changing tax legislation and practices and the impact on businesses.
  • Review transactions, contracts and provide timely and effective tax advice.
  • Establish corporate and financing structures to maximize after-tax value while maintaining responsible corporate citizenship.
  • Coordinate assigned activities with business units and other support functions
