This leadership role will support the Regional Manager in managing the clinics across the Inner West Sydney region.   I-MED are strong believers in working as a team and delivering high quality healthcare, to every patient, every time. As Regional Technical Manager, you will play a prominent role in leading our dynamic clinics across the Inner West. You would be expected to have a comprehensive approach to medical imaging services. This would include a strong clinical focus that provides high quality, and accurate medical imaging services to referrers and patients, as well as a commercial focus that provides both improved clinical and financial outcomes.   Key accountabilities include:  * Participate in and support the daily technologist workforce requirements in the clinic, by ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning and managing sick and other leave as required, while ensuring productivity benchmarks are achieved * Lead the Chief Technologist group in the region. * Support the Regional Manager across a range of operational projects. * Manage, develop and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in the clinic * Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of practice clinical operations * Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes, and budget management * Provide the highest level of patient care possible, while demonstrating flexibility in list management and meeting referrer needs * Planning for equipment across all clinics * Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with staff and key referrers   Key selection criteria: * Ability to manage, coach and lead senior clinic staff in a busy and dynamic environment * Excellent Leadership and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with, radiologists, patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel both verbally and in writing * Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network * Demonstration of a flexible and positive ‘can do’ attitude in the workplace towards quality, customer service and productivity * Strong financial management and business acumen * Results orientated and success driven, with a view to putting the needs of the service first at all times.   If you are seeking a new challenge and are passionate about the delivery of excellence in medical imaging services to patients, referrers and the community, we encourage you to apply today.  With over 240 clinics nationally, I-MED Radiology is Australia's largest private diagnostic imaging network offering a comprehensive range of services including CT, MRI, ultrasound, general x-ray, Nuclear Medicine, and a commitment to exceptional standards of patient care.   Our vision is to be the most respected and trusted medical imaging specialists in the world.
