Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an energetic Retail Territory Manager (RTM) to join our North Island Retail Field Sales team based in Wellington West.
In this field-based role, you will manage a defined territory of retail stores to ensure product availability, compliance to planograms, and strong in-store execution. You’ll be the face of Goodman Fielder in store, working closely with our retail customers to build strong relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and represent our iconic brands with pride.
This is a critical role in ensuring our field plan is executed with excellence - and it offers fantastic scope for career growth in field sales, account management, or beyond.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive field execution - Maintain regular call cycles, conduct compliance checks, and manage loaf ordering and returns
  • Own customer relationships - Build trusted partnerships with store managers to ensure product visibility and promotion
  • Identify growth opportunities - Leverage discretionary displays, NPD opportunities, and non-core ranging to grow sales
  • Collaborate with merchandisers - Ensure the best on-shelf availability by working closely with Field Merch and Team Leaders
  • Utilise data tools - Capture store activity via Salesforce, interpret trends in Power BI, and provide input into business reviews
  • Champion safety - Uphold high health & safety standards both in store and as part of the broader Retail Field team
