Salary: from £31,148 per annum depending on qualifications and experience with paid overtime during peak season.
Contract: Permanent.
Working hours: 37 per week, Monday-Friday.
Are you passionate about agriculture and ready for a leadership role? As a Regional Trials Centre Manager at Niab, you’ll be at the forefront of field crop trials, managing research that shapes the future of farming.
From planning and executing trials to leading a team and overseeing day-to-day operations, this is a dynamic role that offers both hands-on fieldwork and strategic management. You’ll work with key stakeholders, cutting-edge technology, and a range of crops, including cereals, oilseed rape, pulses, and forage crops.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
✔ Leading field trials and demonstration plots across various crops.
✔ Planning and executing trials, from seed preparation to harvest.
✔ Managing budgets, staff, and resources at the centre.
✔ Building strong relationships with farmers, industry partners, and customers.
✔ Ensuring data collection and trial results are delivered to the highest standards.
✔ Collaborating with NIAB’s national trials programme.
