Summary: Develops new Commercial Lending and Banking business by offering a wide variety of products and services, including lines, loans, checking, savings, and cash management. Crucial to the success of the role, the RVP candidate must have the ability to attract, expand and retain – strong credit-quality customers. Working to build a new commercial lending team for Columbia Bank.   Job Responsibilities: * Develops business for the Bank's Commercial Lending Department. Solicits business through various sources and accompanies Branch Managers and Loan Officers on business calls relating to Commercial lending. Interacts with customers to enhance business relationships and cross sell products and services.  * Monitors current commercial loans for performance. Makes recommendations for collection when necessary. Interacts with customers alongside the portfolio managers and credit officers to re-work loans. * Exercises the usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, training, performance evaluation, discipline and salary recommendations. Demonstrates a commitment and responsibility to Equal Opportunity Employment and Affirmative Action. * Maintains a current knowledge of all regulations governing commercial lending as well as any political climates or trends that may affect the Commercial Lending administration. * Performs other job related duties as may be assigned.
