Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) Position reports to: Head of Sales Job summary The Regional Vice President of Sales (RVP) will play a critical role in the planning and execution of achieving revenue targets and driving growth within a designated region. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record of sales success, and the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our customer base. Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Execution Own and execute the regional sales strategy to drive revenue growth across orthopedic work comp accounts, sports medicine, hospitals, VA's, and ASCs. Translate national sales objectives into regional plans, targets, and execution. Ensure consistent execution of brand, pricing, and contracting strategies. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and develop sales strategies accordingly. Partner with distributors and DME providers to optimize territory coverage and revenue velocity. Identify and penetrate new hospitals, ASC's (and ASC systems), and VA networks. Build strategic relationships with large Work Comp providers, regional networks, and employer-focused systems. Work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and priorities. Leadership and Team Management Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain high-performing independent reps and Territory Managers across the region Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team and strategic partners to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Set clear sales objectives and goals for the team and develop strategies to achieve them. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and drive customer satisfaction. Drive adoption of Cryon-X by clearly articulating clinical, operational, and economic advantages. Lead regional relationships with C-suite, supply chain, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and clinical leadership. Serve as the senior field leader and primary escalation point for key accounts and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize customer value. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and track progress towards revenue targets. Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and opportunities. Required Skills, Abilities, Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success in sales and sales leadership. Experience in Orthopedics, with current physician relationships. Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets. Willingness to travel as needed within a region.
