Role Overview: The VP Channels APJ, is a dynamic and influential role within a leading cybersecurity company. This position is crucial for driving business growth, strategic management, and cross-functional collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region. As a pivotal figure, the Senior Sales Director will represent the company in high-stake executive meetings and play a key role in mentoring teams and steering regional success. Key Responsibilities: 1. Channel Recruitment: Secure partnerships with key channels and strategic partners to expand reach, focused on Managed Security Service Providers. 2. Regional Leadership: Mentor and co-manage a region to drive growth and address business challenges. 3. Cross-APJ Program Management: Oversee important programs like OEM/MSSP across the APJ region. 4. Executive Representation: Act as a senior delegate in meetings, advocating the company's interests and views. 5. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities and position cybersecurity solutions against competitors. 6. Strategic Leadership: Develop channel-led strategies for market penetration and customer engagement in the APJ region. · At least 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a focus on the cybersecurity sector. · Demonstrated success in business management within the APAC market. · Technical background and foundation in networking and/or cybersecurity. · Strong leadership capabilities with experience in guiding diverse teams. · Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging a wide range of stakeholders. · Ability to travel at least 50%25 of the time · Strategic thinker with a record of methodical execution. · Proven track record in market growth and expansion. · Fluent in English; additional APAC languages are advantageous.
