OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate Registered Dietitian to provide personalized nutrition counselling and education to a diverse clientele, focusing on weight management, chronic disease prevention, women’s health, digestive health, and overall wellness. Experience in pediatric and/or sports nutrition would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutritional guidance, education and support to clients, helping them achieve their overall wellness goals. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to client care, and the ability to work as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is required (ONTARIO)
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients
  • Excellent computer operation skills for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Passion for promoting health and wellness through nutrition
  • 1+ years experience

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualized assessments and meal plans, based on their health goals, health conditions and dietary preferences.
  • Monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to as needed.
  • Daily food log review and feedback; daily support via email/text; touch base phone /video calls as needed.
  • Provide education on nutrition, healthy eating, portion sizes, and lifestyle changes to ensure clients are happy and on track to reaching their goals.
  • Provide clients with meal/snack ideas as well as recipes based on their preferences
  • Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Offer exceptional customer service by addressing clients inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and trends to provide evidence-based recommendations.
