Job Description
QBB Architects are a well-established, small, vibrant, design-led practice based in Dublin 8. Due to our continued success, we are looking for a Project Architect with min 4+ years office experience to act as Lead Architect on a variety of education, conservation & commercial projects.
The successful candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent design, detail & communication skills.

Job Requirements
As Lead Architect you will play a key role throughout all project work stages from sketch design through to detailing and construction works. Experience of working on small/medium scale projects is preferred.
You will be working directly with the company directors in this role, and will be expected to have a high level of competence in the preparation of design & presentation drawings, planning applications, construction drawings/specifications, with experience of on-site inspections and construction phase operations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • An excellent proficiency in communicating with clients, design teams, contractors and statutory bodies.
  • An excellent standard to spoken, written & technical English.
  • Excellent presentation techniques (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Affinity, Photoshop, or other).
  • A good practical knowledge of technical and design solutions.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Irish Planning and Building Regulations.
