Location: Fargo, ND Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm (Varying hours) with one to two Saturday shifts from 8:30am to 12pm Job Schedule: Part-Time Weekly Hours: Up to 20 JOB SUMMARY The Registered Behavior Technician I (RBT) position implements direct behavior analytic services, under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) for children and young adults served by Anne Carlsen. The services include implementation of client’s individualized care plans and behavioral intervention programs as well as evidence-based curriculum, interventions, and programming. This position provides training, guidance, and direction to the client’s team and staff. The position effectively utilizes problem-solving skills in determining client needs and staff training needs. QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements) Education and/or years’ experience required: Required to have a high school diploma Must be 18 years of age or older Complete and pass criminal background check Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities: Completion of 40-hour RBT training requirement and certification within 4 months of employment. Knowledge of Windows, Intranet, Internet and Telehealth technology. Ability to access, manipulate, organize, and relay information in meaningful ways using emails, phones, etc. Must have effective skills in organization and communication – both written and oral. Ability to direct the work of individuals served using problem solving skills, adapt to rapid change, and be able to intervene promptly in crisis/emergency situations. RBT experience with training in the principles and techniques of Applied Behavioral Analysis, including understanding behavioral plans and behavior analytical services. Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable): This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
