JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective behavioral therapy and support.

EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience in teaching or providing patient care within a behavioral health setting is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and care plan development is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide direct support to clients in various settings, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress to inform treatment plans.
  • Teach social skills, communication, and daily living skills to clients using evidence-based strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
