About the position: As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with a supervisor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will deliver behavioral therapy to individuals with Autism and related developmental needs working in both home and/or school settings. Skills worked on will include: communication, social skills, academics, play development, behavior management and self help skills. Work with learners implementing behavioral and instructional ABA based programs as designed by the BCBA in a school, home or community setting. Collect data as directed by your team's BCBA. Follow behavior and skill acquisition plans in a playful yet professional manner as directed by your team’s BCBA. Promote client dignity and safety at all times. Communicate effectively with team members in an acceptable time frame. Attend regular team meetings and CLM coaching sessions. Drive self to multiple work sites during the work day. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Commitment to following company policies, maintain client confidentiality, and adhere to HIPPA laws as well as the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts/RBTs. What’s needed from you? Must have a desire to work with individuals with Autism or other developmental needs. Positive attitude and kindness towards team members and clients. [Preferred] Experience working with children and /or adults in the school, home and/or community settings. [Minimum] High School diploma and background check [Preferred] Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in good standing Reliable transportation required. A background check Negative TB test required Carry out schedule as agreed upon, including good time keeping Comply with California Department of Public Health COVID-19 policies.
