Launch Behavioural Health is seeking a full time Registered Behaviour Analyst to join our clinic in the Leslieville area of Toronto. This role will primarily focus on deliver of evidence based social skill programs. Our team delivers evidence based, developmentally informed Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and psychological services. We serve children, youth, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns, primarily individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. We offer ongoing support and development opportunities for staff, including:
· Mentorship from experts in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), including Registered Psychologists, Registered Behavior Analysts, and Board Certified Behaviour Analysts;
· Ongoing continuing education opportunities, including workshops and journal reading groups;
· Centrally located clinic close to TTC;
· Opportunities for advancement within our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop evidence-based programming based in principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
- Deliver individual and group services for children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and/or mental health challenges and their families.
-Train and supervise assistants to support delivery of group based services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or a related field
- Currently registered with College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)
- Experience delivering ABA services to children and youth with ASD, and their families
- Training and experience in manualized, evidence based social skills programs (e.g., PEERS, CFT, etc.) or other manualized skill building programs (e.g., Unstuck and On Target) is preferred
- Availability to provide in person services at our clinic Tuesday to Friday afternoons and evening shift and Saturday day shift.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and accept feedback and direction
- Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Vulnerable Sector Check (within past 6 months)
