JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Supervisor is a key leader responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based ABA services within our Whitby centre. This role requires a compassionate and experienced professional with a strong background in Applied Behaviour Analysis and supporting children with diverse needs. The Clinical Supervisor will independently manage daily clinical operations, provide mentorship and supervision to staff, and ensure all programs are implemented with fidelity to best practices and ethical standards. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, overseeing treatment planning, facilitating data collection and analysis, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve meaningful client outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
· Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) designation in Ontario (mandatory).
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing ABA services and supervising clinical staff.
· Proven experience working with children and youth with autism and developmental differences in a clinical or educational setting.
· Strong knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles, assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions.
· Proficiency in technology for clinical documentation and data management, including the Portia ABA Clinic Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage scheduling, centre operations, and multiple clinical priorities effectively.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with families, staff, and interdisciplinary professionals.
· Master’s degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, or a related field preferred, along with compliance with CPBAO standards.
· Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and delivering high-quality, family-centered care.

Responsibilities

· Supervise and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance on best practices in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
· Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary professionals to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
· Conduct behavioural and skills assessments (ABLLS, AFLS, VB-MAPP, ESDM, PEAK, AIM).
· Develop, oversee, and monitor individualized ABA programs, ensuring fidelity to data-driven best practices.
· Provide direct behavioural services and parent coaching, including leading monthly clinic/progress meetings.
· Monitor client data, make program adjustments, and ensure accurate documentation and progress reporting.
· Provide training and professional development to staff on ABA principles, program implementation, and effective communication with families.
· Facilitate data collection and analysis using the Portia ABA Clinic Software to guide clinical decision-making.
· Manage crisis situations, including aggressive or self-injurious behaviours, ensuring client and staff safety.
· Oversee day-to-day centre operations, including scheduling, payroll tracking, and clinic workflow management.
· Ensure compliance with ethical standards, CPBAO guidelines, and organizational policies.
· Participate in professional development, workshops, and team meetings to support continuous learning.
