OVERVIEW

The Kawartha Cardiology Clinic (KCC) is seeking a skilled and passionate Cardiovascular Technologist to join our healthcare team! The successful candidate will play a key role in the analysis and interpretation of Holter Monitor data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for optimal patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. Remoting scanning not available

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current registration with OSCT
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced ECG Interpretation.
  • Ability to perform and interpret patient’s vital signs
  • Knowledge of cardiac medications
  • Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
  • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic Life Support (CPR)

Responsibilities
  • analyze and interpret preliminary Holter and blood pressure monitor reports using advanced scanning software
  • Prepares detailed reports for cardiologist interpretation
  • Ensure accuracy in data analysis
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory standards
  • Apply Holter and blood pressure monitors to patients.
  • Patient education
  • Cleaning, maintaining and calibrating equipment as needed
  • Report to the Ambulatory Monitoring Team Lead and Cardiologists as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
