Our Centre was born in response to the escalating children’s mental health crisis exacerbated by the global COVID pandemic. Upon hearing numerous stories from desperate parents struggling to find quality support for their children’s anxiety and other concerns, we decided to take action and committed ourselves to creating a responsive, compassionate, and comprehensive practice, centered on supporting the inherent strengths and well-being that exist within each child and family. We have now expanded from servicing youth-only to adults and the general population.
The Giving Tree Centre specializes in various therapeutic modalities for children and adults, including play therapy, family therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, individual therapy, art therapy, and assessments such as psychoeducational and socioemotional evaluations for children under 18 years old. We have assembled a robust team of psychologists, psychotherapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and parent coaches to assist children, adults and families in navigating a broad spectrum of challenges, from anxiety and depression to eating disorders and suicidal thoughts.
