REQUIREMENTS:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (Children and Young People) – Desired
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
  • Proven experience leading in a children’s residential home
  • Excellent knowledge of child protection legislation and standards
  • A cool head under pressure and a warm heart for young people
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

  • Take the reins of a growing 2-bed children’s home
  • Lead and inspire a passionate care team committed to excellence and empathy
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices
  • Oversee assessments and placement strategy for new referrals
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with local authorities
  • Bring innovation to safeguarding, staffing, and policy development
