Are you an experienced and visionary Registered Manager seeking a unique opportunity to make a profound impact? We’re looking for a passionate leader to spearhead the launch of a brand-new, single-bedded children’s home in Bradford. This specialist home will be dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care for a young person with learning disabilities (LD).
This is a rare chance to shape a highly specialised service from the ground up, with significant autonomy to create a truly person-centred environment.
Your Role:
As the Registered Manager, you’ll take full ownership of this specialist children’s home. You’ll work closely with HR and the Responsible Individual (RI) to ensure the service is managed safely and effectively from day one.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the establishment of this new solo-placement LD children’s home in Bradford.
  • Develop and oversee person-centred care plans specifically tailored to the young person’s unique needs.
  • Build and direct a small, specialist support team, fostering a nurturing and expert environment.
  • Manage referrals, all home operations, and the budget with efficiency and foresight.
  • Collaborate closely with the young person, their family, and external professionals to ensure holistic support.
  • Ensure full OFSTED compliance and consistently maintain the highest standards of care.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within children’s residential settings.
  • A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
