Are you an experienced and dedicated leader ready for your next challenge? We are looking for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to join a thriving and established home in Accrington. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a service that specializes in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviors. Our home is currently operational and holds a “GOOD” Ofsted rating.
Your Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring it continues to provide a safe, nurturing, and effective environment. Your duties will include:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, recruit, and train the staff team to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the home’s operations, including managing referrals and the budget.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds both Ofsted and company standards.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the Responsible Individual and Director, providing updates on the home’s performance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting.
  • Qualification: An NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or currently working towards it).
  • Driving: A valid driving license is essential.
