We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead the establishment of a brand-new, 3-bedded therapeutic children’s home right here in Leicester.

Your Role in Their Journey

As the Registered Manager, you’ll be pivotal in shaping the therapeutic foundation of this new home. You will:

• Develop a Therapeutic Foundation: Implement a clear and effective therapeutic model that guides all aspects of the home’s work.
• Champion Individual Needs: Oversee the creation of highly personalised therapeutic care plans that truly address the unique emotional, social, and behavioural needs of each young person.
• Build a Caring Team in Leicester: Recruit, lead, and mentor a skilled local staff team, equipping them to deliver impactful therapeutic interventions.
• Invest in Therapeutic Support: Manage resources effectively to ensure access to specialist training and interventions that support the therapeutic model.
• Connect with Leicester’s Support Network: Build strong relationships with local therapeutic services and resources to enhance the support available to young people.
• Ensure High-Quality Therapeutic Care: Lead the home to consistently meet and exceed OFSTED standards, with a strong focus on the quality of therapeutic support provided.

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience as a Registered Manager: Proven success in managing UK children’s residential settings, with a strong preference for candidates with specific experience and expertise in working therapeutically with young people with EBD, ideally within the Leicester area.
• Essential Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Understanding Therapeutic Approaches: A deep understanding of the principles and practices of therapeutic care for young people with EBD.
• Strong Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team around a shared vision of therapeutic care.
• Essential Requirement: A valid UK Driving Licence.

What We Offer
