A leading provider of residential care for young people is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Children’s Manager to lead a team across 2 homes in Ringwood Dorset/Hampshire. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment where young people with diverse needs can feel safe and empowered. You’ll work closely with local authorities, social services, and education professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. Responsibilities
  • Lead with Impact: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of six direct reports, fostering a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Ensure Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the homes, ensuring the highest standards of care in line with OFSTED regulations.
  • Provide Holistic Support: Work closely with the Local Education Authority, Social Services, and the MASH team to provide integrated and effective care for young people.
  • Create a Nurturing Environment: Guide young people with complex needs, including Looked After Children (LAC) and those requiring emotional and behavioural support.
