Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Qualifications: - Dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Familiarity with dental software system Dentrix
- Proficient in taking dental x-rays and developing them
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
