JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as proficiency with dental software systems. The Dental Assistant will ensure that the office operates smoothly and that patients receive the highest level of service.
The patient hours you will be assisting with are Tuesday ,Wednesday, and Thursday 7am to 1pm and Friday 8am to 4pm.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential for effective communication within the team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring a clean environment.
  • Manage patient records using dental software such as Gold and Cadi, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Take accurate dental impressions.
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when needed.
