OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist with various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and chairside assisting techniques. Experience with AbelDent is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven 2 year experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
  • Familiarity with Abeldent EMR system.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Proficiency in chairside assisting techniques and four-handed dentistry practices.
  • Ability to take X-rays and perform medical imaging tasks safely.
  • Understanding of medical documentation, coding, and record management.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred. Join our team where your skills will make a difference in our patients’ lives!

  • Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Manage patient scheduling and assist with administrative tasks as needed, including dental receptionist duties.
  • Monitor vital signs and assist in medical imaging when required.
  • Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control measures throughout all procedures.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
