Description Under the supervision of Head RDA and Office Manager is a dental staff member working under a licensed Dentist (Pediatric or General). Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental act. Responsible for seating and dismissing patients, as well as preparing and caring for instruments and treatment rooms, mixing materials and archiving digital images. May perform other related work to include, but not limited to, making appointments, answer the phone, ordering supplies and scanning. Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Duties delegated are permitted under the Texas Dental Practice Act in accordance with the TSBDE rules and regulations. Responsible for compliance with other requirements affecting the Medical Center, such as State/Federal regulations, PCHM, DSHS, Standards and Compliance Standards. (United Medical Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.) Requirements Education: 1. High School graduate or Equivalent. 2. Graduate of an approved Dental Assistant program. (Preferred) 3. Certification by the Dental Assisting National Board Experience/Training: 1. Experience in Dental Practice Operations and Dental Software Systems. 2. Computer Literate. 3. Must have current CPR certification
