OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. We are located next to SaveOn Foods, with good influx of patients.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to support various dental procedures and enhance the overall patient experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in dental assisting or related field is preferred
  • Experience in orthodontics and pediatrics is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.

    Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive dental practices.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing dental software systems (e.g., OpenDental).
  • Support orthodontic procedures when necessary and assist with pediatric patients.
