OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled level 2 Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team at Keystone Dental Centre. We are looking to fill a maternity leave position with the potential to stay on after. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist in various procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Maxident software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Certification as a Level 2 Dental Assistant is required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
  • Take digital dental radiographs as needed.
  • Maintain patient records and update information in Maxident
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and work areas
  • Support front office operations by performing duties related to dental receptionist tasks when necessary.
