We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires clinical expertise to ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of dental care in a welcoming environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2- 3 years Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required for this position.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Curve highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
• Experience in orthodontics will be considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification in Dental Assisting is Required.

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Curve dental software
• Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Support patients with a gentle approach to create a comfortable experience.
• Assist in orthodontic procedures when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of orthodontics.
