JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant with minimum of 2 years experience to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Must be registered and licensed with the Alberta Dental Association and College (ADA&C).
• A current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid is typically required.
• Proficiency in dental terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team, collaborating with dentists, dental hygienists, and other staff members.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in preparing treatment areas, handling instruments, and recording patient information accurately.
