Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in Leduc. Our dental practice is dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care and we are looking for a reliable and motivated team player to help us provide exceptional dental care.
We are open Mon-Fri. No evenings or weekends!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist in all aspects of patient care, including taking and recording patient medical and dental histories, performing chairside procedures, and providing patient education.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines.
  • Take dental impressions, X-rays, and intraoral photographs.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns and bridges.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Work with other team members to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the practice.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Dental Assistant with a valid license in Alberta.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a dental assistant is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with dental software and computer skills.
