POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, patient education, and preventative care, while also being comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient-first attitude with the ability to build trust and rapport
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a dental office is an asset, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including scaling, polishing, root planing, and fluoride treatments and Periodontal charting
  • Take digital radiographs as required
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with RCDSO and CDHO standards
  • Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Uphold strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols
