Pay: $50.00-$52.00 per hour

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform a full range of clinical hygiene services — including scaling, root planing, polishing, and applying topical fluoride — with precision and care
  • Assess patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure personalized care plans
  • Act as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventive care strategies
  • Build strong and trusting patient relationships with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Create a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program
  • Current registration and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
  • Malpractice/liability insurance through CDHA or ODHA
  • IPAC certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain care clearly and effectively
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • A collaborative spirit, able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfort with dental software systems (Abel Dent) is an asset
  • Experience in digital scannings preferred, (training can be provided), Pola Light whitening, and laser hygiene therapy is considered an asset
