Qualifications:

  • High-level knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and the ability to discuss treatment plans with patients professionally and effectively.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Dental office management software (Tracker knowledge is an asset).
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering patient trust and satisfaction.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
  • Maintains a valid CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
  • Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
  • Take dental X-rays as needed.
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
  • Upkeeping both the laboratory and operatory environments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
