JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure optimal oral health for our patients.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist with a strong background in general dentistry.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques and chairside assisting.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes.
• Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and provide exceptional patient care.
• Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and infection control protocols.

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations while ensuring patient comfort.
• Assess patients’ oral health by reviewing medical records and taking vital signs.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
• Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Implement aseptic techniques and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and streamline office operations.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
