What We’re Looking For:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Confident in performing hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, and taking digital X-rays
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain treatments and oral hygiene in an approachable way
- Proficient with dental office software (Tracker experience is a bonus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- A true team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Dedicated to building patient trust and long-term relationships
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing.
- Recording patient’s data
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide patients with simple terms with oral hygiene techniques.
- Take dental X-rays as needed.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Upkeeping both the laboratory and operatory environments
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
