OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about dental hygiene practices and assisting in various dental procedures. Your expertise in medical terminology and familiarity with dental software will enhance our practice’s efficiency and patient satisfaction.
The position is for 3-4 days a week on an ongoing basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Competence in using Dentrix or similar dental management software.
  • Strong customer service skills to enhance patient interactions.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough hygiene, including scaling and polishing teeth.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for patients, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
