Registered Dietitian – Nutrition Services (Full-Time) Glendive Medical Center | Glendive, MT | M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM | Pay Starting at $28.11 Make a Difference in Rural Healthcare Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. In this role, you'll provide nutrition care across Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Outpatient settings, helping patients and residents achieve better health outcomes through personalized dietary planning and education. What You'll Do Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, families, and staff Support the Diabetes Self-Management Education Program Collaborate with providers, nurses, pharmacists, and dietary staff to ensure optimal patient care Develop and oversee specialized diets based on medical needs Evaluate menus to ensure nutritional accuracy and regulatory compliance Assist with community education and create patient-friendly educational materials Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and care planning Coordinate nutritional supplements and specialized nutrition (including parenteral nutrition when needed) Provide training and in-services for dietary and clinical staff What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field Registered Dietitian license (state licensure required) Certification from the American Dietetic Association preferred Minimum of 2 years of dietary experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and communicate with patients for extended periods Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds Benefits Overview Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employer-paid life insurance and disability coverage 401(k) with company match PTO, extended illness, and holiday pay Optional additional benefits About GMC As a Critical Access Hospital, GMC provides essential healthcare services to communities across Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota.
