Apply today to learn more about our vibrant community!    We are seeking a Part Time Registered Dietician. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) provides nutrition consultation and education for patients and their families who are screened at nutrition risk, identified with nutrition risk, and/or referred by physicians or other healthcare providers for nutrition-related problems, chronic disease management, management of nutrition support, to meet regulatory requirements, or for prevention and wellness. The RDN is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team who serves as the patient’s nutrition advocate.  Job Responsibilities:    * Performs nutritional assessments and reassesses according to mandated schedules, utilizing skills of examination of, and communication with the resident as appropriate  * Generates a care plan based on resident needs and completes appropriate section of MDS as per schedule  * Assures that prescribed diets provide nutrients and calories based upon accepted current and recommended dietary allowances * Participates in the Interdisciplinary Team conference in order to develop care plans which will meet the needs and food preference of the individual residents  * Assists in developing a variety of between meal, bedtime nourishment, and supplemental snacks  * Assures that a resident’s prescribed tube feeding will consist of a nutritionally complete formula which will be given in sufficient quantity for adequate nutrition.  * Works with rehabilitation staff in developing programs for residents dependent on others for feeding at mealtimes, as well as provides input on proper assistive feeding devices    Requirements: Registered Dietitian    Preferred Experience: Long Term Care experience and experience with Point Click Care    2 days a week - Flexible Hours
