Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Schedule: 2 days of your choosing per week (0800-1600, or similar hours) 1 days remote and 1 day from Eden Care Centre
Compensation: $45.00-$50.00 (based on experience)

Position Overview: As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents through nutrition assessment, planning, and education. You will work closely with our healthcare team to create individualized dietary plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) with the college of Health and Care Professionals in BC.
  • Restricted Activities A.
  • Experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or a similar setting is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of food service management and dietary regulations is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for residents.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized dietary care plans.
  • Collaborate with nursing and care staff to ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families.
  • Monitor and evaluate resident progress and dietary compliance.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
  • Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements related to nutrition in long-term care.
