EDCare is an independently owned eating disorder treatment clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. What you'll do as a Registered Dietitian: Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic meal plans based on patient needs. Facilitate nutrition and process groups, as well as meal therapy sessions, with patients and families, while ensuring timely and accurate clinical documentation. Serve as the primary Registered Dietitian for the Adolescent program and provide coverage for Adult PHP/IOP as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and support continuity of care, including communication with outpatient Follow EDCare guidelines and maintain compliance with HIPAA, The Joint Commission, and applicable state and local health requirements. Join patients and families during meals to model a healthy, balanced approach to eating. Our Ideal Registered Dietitian: Experienced or Emerging: Prior experience as a dietitian preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical interest are encouraged to apply. Experience with adolescents, eating disorder treatment, dual diagnosis populations, and individual or group counseling is a plus. Credentialed: Bachelor's degree in nutrition required, with a current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential and eligibility to obtain Kansas Dietitian licensure. Calm & Decisive: Able to manage crises, make sound clinical decisions, and maintain steadiness in a higher level-of-care environment. Organized & Proactive: Manages time, documentation, and competing priorities effectively while taking initiative when needs arise. Empathetic & Flexible: Approaches patients and families with compassion, adapts to changing clinical needs, and works well within a collaborative treatment model. Computer Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning an electronic medical record system.
