Position Overview The Registered Dietitian delivers nutrition therapy to clients in intensive programming by performing nutrition assessments, creating personalized care plans, monitoring ongoing medical and nutritional conditions, and tracking client progress. Additionally, the dietitian provides nutrition education to enhance clients' nutritional health and their relationship with food. Schedule Monday through Friday approximately 8:00am to 4:30pm. 2 days per week working augmented schedule into the evening until approximately 7:15pm with a later start time. Compensation Range: Registered Dietitian: $61,000 - $72,000 annually Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position. How Dietitians Empower Recovery Maintain an expected client caseload and conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments… Develop and implement tailored nutrition interventions, such as therapeutic diets, meal plans, food exposures, and enteral nutrition. Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling aligned with client values and grounded in nutrition science, weight inclusivity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles. Facilitate nutrition groups, therapeutic nutrition sessions, and Therapeutic Supported Meals/snacks with clients and their supports, as assigned. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and external providers to plan treatment, conceptualize cases, and coordinate care. Stay current with best practices in nutrition and eating disorder care, and complete required training. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Professional Qualifications: Registered Dietitian credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required. Licensed/Certified Dietitian credential in the state of practice is required, per applicable state regulations. Less than 2 years of academic, pre-professional, professional, or equivalent experience in eating disorder care. (Less than 2 years is the level of experience for being an RD 1, higher than that would be an RD 2 - but going to hire as a 1 and then assess after their start to increase to a RD 2.)
