The dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal nutrition care is integrated into the overall treatment plan. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program. Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of your assignment Certification in specialized areas (e.g., CNSC, CDE) preferred but not required. Current, valid, and active driver’s license required. Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Proficient in electronic health records and Microsoft Office. Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities. Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a registered dietitian in the state of employment required.
