Job Type: Full-Time, 1-Year Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: 3-58 Dawson Road, Guelph, ON
Start Date: October 6, 2025
Wage: $18/hour base, plus CWELCC wage enhancement funding

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team for a 1-year maternity leave contract, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate is a caring professional who values responsive relationships, play-based learning, and aligns with “How Does Learning Happen?” and the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Able to provide RECE registration number upon request
  • Strong knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and “How Does Learning Happen?”
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Passion for working with children and supporting early learning and development
