Reporting to the Centre Director, you’ll work collaboratively with your team to plan curriculum experiences, maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment, and build meaningful relationships with families and children. You’ll be a role model of professionalism and an ambassador for the Childventures philosophy of learning. This is a contract position ending January 2027. EXCLUSIVE PERKS * Competitive wages and vacation allowance * Training & development: paid professional development days  * Opportunities for career advancement * Fully reimbursed RECE membership dues * Group Benefits including Health, Dental, AD&D, Life and Health Care Spending Account * Corporate discount and perks program * Beautiful, Spacious & Enjoyable Work Environment  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan and deliver engaging curriculum experiences aligned with Childventures' philosophy and standards * Customize programming based on observations and children’s developmental stages and interests * Conduct regular observations and maintain accurate documentation and child records * Establish safe, consistent routines and foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment * Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding each child’s development * Support licensing, health, and safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance * Collaborate with your Team Mentor and Centre Director to maintain and enhance program quality * Participate in quality assurance processes, including internal assessments and environmental ratings * Attend curriculum and professional development sessions to continually grow your practice * Other duties as assigned to support classroom and centre success  QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Certification * Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized Ontario institution * Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (RECE) Experience * Experience in a licensed childcare setting is an asset Knowledge & Skills * Familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and current educational practices * Passion for early learning and a commitment to quality and safety  MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS: * 2 Step TB * Updated Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR) * Health Assessment (deemed fit for work) * Vulnerable Sector Check * Standard First Aid & CPR Level C Recruitment Process Disclosure Our organization does not utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) at any stage of the recruitment or hiring process.
