REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Must be a Registered Earthwork Supervisor with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) .
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in earthwork supervision or related roles in Singapore.
• Knowledge: Familiar with soil mechanics, deep excavation works, shoring systems, and temporary earth-retaining structures.
• Safety: Familiarity with WSH (Construction) Regulations , Codes of Practice , and SS 598 for earthwork supervision.
• Good communication skills in English (and other languages if required for site coordination).
• Physically fit and able to work under outdoor and site conditions.

• Supervise and manage all earthwork activities, including excavation, backfilling, grading, and compaction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (WSH Act, WSH Construction Regulations) and project specifications.
• Monitor site conditions and ground stability; take immediate action in case of unsafe conditions or slope failures.
• Conduct daily inspections and risk assessments of earthwork operations.
• Coordinate with project engineers, safety officers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain proper documentation, including daily progress reports, permit-to-work forms, and inspection checklists.
• Ensure all machinery and equipment used for earthworks are in good working condition and operated safely.
• Attend toolbox meetings and contribute to site safety culture.
• Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices immediately to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
