QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid NMC registration
  • Experience in a care home or similar setting
  • Adept in using clinical equipment and administering medication
  • Ability to document and communicate effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with residents and their families
  • Ability to work in and lead a team
  • Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing resident needs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred
  • Additional certification in dementia or palliative care is beneficial
Responsibilities

This is a part-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse. Your shifts would include alternate weekends. Shifts are 12 hours with 1 hour break unpaid. You will be responsible for all our residents living in our home.

  • Use your professional skills to make safe clinical decisions to ensure that the highest quality of nursing care is delivered
  • You will work closely with the care team to not only support them but also use their knowledge of residents likes and dislikes to build person centred care plans.
  • Your involvement in creating person centred care plans and risk assessments will be key to successful delivery of outstanding care and regular updated and reviews will be required.
  • You will be engaging in meaningful activities with the people living in our home as well as always promoting independence, choice, dignity and respect.
